Rajabather Bala Bhaskaran is
a man who looks comfortable whatever he does.
And he has done a lot. As a key figure of
what future historians will call the early
Madras School, he is part of a continue that
look from an earlier generation and handed
it down to a later one.
He has been for four decades, one of our finest
all rounder; artist, administrator and pioneer
of the
contemporary
art movement in chennai.
Above all, he is a teacher , a man possessed
of knowledge and the conviction that it has
to be passed on. India has produced great
artist and great art teacher, but seldom have
the two come together in one man. As it has
in Bhaskaran. |
